Wolf story for Kid: A Sparkling Smile
In the dead of night, Mr. Grey Wolf stealthily sneaked into the village, intending to snatch a piglet for his baby to taste.
He nimbly climbed over Mrs. Pig’s fence and arrived under the piglet’s window. Inside, the piglet was snoring sweetly in deep sleep. Mr. Wolf agilely jumped in through the window, ready to grab the piglet, but then he saw a sparkling smile on the piglet’s lips under the moonlight.
“Oh, this little one must be having a wonderful dream,” Mr. Wolf muttered to himself, “Probably dreaming of some delicious food. Look at that, the greedy little thing even has drool hanging from its mouth.”
Suddenly, Mr. Wolf felt a pang of pity and thought, “Alright, alright, I’ll let this little piglet go this time. It’s still a long way till dawn. I’ll go grab a calf instead.”
Mr. Wolf then went to Mrs. Cow’s house. The calf was sound asleep in his little bed. Mr. Wolf was about to grab the calf when he noticed that the calf also had a sparkling smile on its lips under the moonlight.
“Huh, is this little one having a wonderful dream too?” Mr. Wolf had just finished speaking when the calf in the little bed suddenly started waving its little hands and talking in its sleep, “Come catch me! Come catch me!”
“Hehe, this mischievous thing must be dreaming about playing with its friends during the day.” Mr. Wolf couldn’t help but chuckle, feeling pity once again. “Alright, alright, I’ll let this little calf go too. It’s still a long way till dawn. I’ll go grab a lamb instead.”
So, Mr. Wolf went to Mrs. Sheep’s house. The lamb was sleeping peacefully, having a beautiful dream. In her dream, she was wearing a snow-white princess dress and had become a beloved sheep princess. Under the moonlight, the lamb’s curved lips bore a sparkling smile. Mr. Wolf looked at that smile, sighed, and let the lamb go.
Later, Mr. Wolf went to Miss Hen’s house and Mrs. Goose’s house, but he left empty-handed each time. Exhausted, he finally decided to go home.
At home, his baby wolf was already fast asleep, with a sparkling smile on its lips under the moonlight.
Mr. Wolf kissed his baby wolf’s cheek and went back to his bedroom. He lay down tiredly and slowly fell asleep. If someone were standing outside Mr. Wolf’s bedroom window looking in, they would certainly notice that, under the moonlight, Mr. Wolf also had a sparkling smile on his lips.
