The Spider’s Dangerous Encounter

After much effort, a spider had woven a new web on the branches of a large tree. Several small flying insects were captured, and the spider had a great meal. Relaxing on the web, which was soft, comfortable, and elastic like a cradle, the spider soon fell asleep as the gentle breeze occasionally blew by.

A snake slowly crawled up the tree trunk. She had been unlucky and hadn’t found any food, so she was very hungry. When she reached the web, she stopped. The plump, large spider tempted her appetite, and she decided to make the spider her meal.

Coiling her tail around a branch, she straightened her body and slowly stretched forward. With a lightning-fast attack, she swallowed the spider in one gulp.

The spider woke up in a shock. His web was gone, and everything around him was pitch black and filled with a foul, fishy odor.

Feeling a wave of panic, he struggled to find a way out, but it was futile. Breathing became difficult, and he realized he was in big trouble. He calmed down and decided to use his deadly weapon for a final attempt.

Opening his mouth, he bit down hard on the snake’s flesh, puffed up his body, and injected his venom. Then, he sighed with relief and waited patiently.

The snake, having swallowed the spider, coiled on the branch, waiting for her meal to digest. Suddenly, she felt a severe pain in her stomach, and her body went numb, almost causing her to fall off the tree.

Realizing she had made a mistake, she immediately opened her mouth, tightened her abdomen, and with a “bleh,” spat the spider out.

The spider returned to his web, unharmed. He cleaned the filth off his body and lay back down to continue his dream.

The snake quickly slithered down the tree and escaped, never daring to mess with a spider again.
