The little hedgehog had just finished building her winter nest. Before she could even be happy about it, a big apple fell and hit her. Ouch! The little hedgehog squeaked in fright.
The big apple landed right on her back! Now, her little nest was no longer suitable. She tried hard to curl up, but the apple wouldn’t budge.
Her good friends came by to help. The little squirrel tried to remove the apple, but accidentally added three brown nuts to her back. The little pig suggested she roll on the ground, which resulted in a small green pear and a wrinkled dry leaf getting stuck on her as well.
As if things weren’t bad enough, a bright card, a pink lotus flower, and four ripe blackberries also got stuck on the little hedgehog. She started crying in distress.
At that moment, a hungry goat appeared. Delighted to see the little hedgehog, she helped by eating all the food stuck on her.
The little hedgehog then crawled back into her cozy nest. In the blink of an eye, she fell asleep.
