The Little Fox’s Guitar
In the grass, there was a wooden guitar. A little squirrel saw it and jumped down from the tree.
Thrum—the strings vibrated.
So much fun! The little squirrel hopped back and forth on the strings, making the guitar produce tinkling and clanging sounds.
A little rabbit happened to pass by, and she jumped onto the guitar too.
A little ant, a grasshopper, a praying mantis, a beetle, a little mouse, and a puppy also jumped on.
Thrum—jingle—bang—crash—clang…
The once quiet grass was now filled with a chaotic mix of noises.
The noise was going to disturb the baby chicks! The black hen, who was hatching her chicks, covered her ears.
Her ears were about to burst! A butterfly quickly hid inside a flower.
A little snake, just hatched from its egg, started crying in fear…
But everyone kept hopping on the guitar.
“Friends, stop messing around! This is my guitar,” said the little fox. He picked up the guitar and began to play softly.
“So beautiful, so beautiful!” The black hen uncovered her ears.
“So beautiful, so beautiful!” The butterfly flew out of the flower.
“So beautiful, so beautiful!” The little snake listened and began to smile.
Everyone gathered around the little fox and danced. Strum-bam-thrum, strum-bam-thrum, what a joyful time!
