The lion Story: The Loud Snoring Sound
One evening, the lion was sighing at home because he would be leaving on a long journey in a few days and didn’t know who could look after his house. Just then, he heard a loud snoring sound. The lion immediately went outside to see who was snoring.
As he walked, the lion met the deer. The lion asked, “Deer, did you hear that loud snoring? I want to know who’s snoring.” Just then, the owl, who was dozing off, accidentally fell from the tree. He opened his eyes, looked around, and said, “Haha, I thought I was the only one who stays up at night. Why aren’t you two sleeping?” The lion replied, “Do you know who’s snoring? I’m looking for them!” The owl shook his head, but he was also curious to know who could be making such a loud snoring sound.
They searched and searched until they finally discovered that the snoring was coming from a tree hole. The owl quickly flew into the tree hole, and it turned out to be a little pig sleeping soundly inside! The pig’s snoring was so loud that the owl gasped in surprise. Can you record your snoring and sell it to us?” The pig asked in surprise, “Why would you want my snoring?” The lion said, “I’m going on a journey, and I want to play your snoring at home so that thieves won’t dare to come in!” The deer said, “I often get so scared at night that I can’t sleep. I want your snoring to chase away my fears!” The owl said, “Haha, I often doze off while looking for food at night. Listening to your snoring would keep me awake!” The pig replied, “I’ll record my snoring right away!”
The lion, deer, and owl left happily with the recording of the snoring. The pig laughed joyfully because he no longer had to be troubled by his snoring. It turned out that his snoring was actually useful!
