The Kind Wind Doll story

The wind doll was growing up day by day. Wind Mother said, “You have grown up. Go to the fields, where you can help people do many good deeds.”

The wind doll came to the fields and saw a large windmill slowly turning, with a small stream of water trickling down intermittently below it. The wind doll took a deep breath, puffed up its cheeks, and blew hard at the windmill. Haha, the windmill spun faster! The water flow immediately increased, rushing and leaping towards the fields. The seedlings straightened up, nodding to the wind doll in gratitude, making the wind doll very happy.

It then came to the riverbank and saw many boatmen pulling a boat forward. The boatmen were bent over, sweating, and chanting, but the boat was moving very slowly. The wind doll hurried over and blew harder at the sails. The boat started moving quickly across the water, and the boatmen smiled, turning back to express their thanks to the wind doll.

It went to the forest and saw a group of people who had lost their way, surrounded by weeds and bushes. The wind doll blew hard at the weeds and bushes, clearing a path to the city. The people waved enthusiastically to the wind doll, expressing their gratitude.

The wind doll thought: Helping people do good deeds is easy! Just use some strength.

Thinking this, it unconsciously arrived at a village. Some children were flying kites, and the wind doll quickly went over to help blow. It blew as hard as it did at the windmill, and as hard as it did at the sails. As a result, the kite strings broke, and the kites were torn to pieces and blown away, disappearing without a trace. The wind doll also blew away the clothes people were drying, broke the newly planted trees by the roadside, and stirred up clouds of dust and sand.

The village was filled with complaints, all saying the wind doll was too annoying! The wind doll felt very wronged and decided not to help people anymore. It drifted leisurely in the sky, thinking and thinking, until it suddenly understood: to do good deeds, one needs not only good intentions but also the right methods!

Children, do you understand the lesson the wind doll learned? It’s right to be enthusiastic about helping others, but you must pay attention to the methods; otherwise, good deeds might turn into bad ones.
