The Happy Cat’s Bakery

A new bakery called “The Happy Bakery” opened on the corner of a small town’s street. Inside, there were various types of bread with names like Good Mood Bread, Smiley Bread, and Haha Laugh Bread. Just hearing these names made people happy and eager to try them.

The owner, Happy Cat, always had a big smile on her face, and everyone who came to buy bread was in high spirits.

“Hmph, who knows what she adds to those breads? Are those things even edible?” Grumpy Pig said to Red Fox.

Before Happy Cat came to town, Grumpy Pig’s bakery was doing great business. No one dared to say anything bad about his bread, and when he lost his temper, no one dared to make a sound. But now, besides Red Fox, no one else came to his bakery.

Red Fox got free bread from Grumpy Pig every day, so he came by to flatter him daily. It would be a pity to throw away the unsold bread, so Grumpy Pig gave it all to Red Fox.

Red Fox, having had enough of Grumpy Pig’s bread, also wanted to try the happy bread from Happy Cat’s store. He said to Grumpy Pig, “Buddy, let me go check out how they make their bread, and I’ll report back to you!”

Red Fox bought several kinds of bread and brought them back. He and Grumpy Pig ate and studied the bread together. After finishing the bread, they both thought it was delicious, but they hadn’t figured out the secret.

Red Fox suddenly remembered, “Oh, I recall now, Happy Cat chanted a spell, saying ‘Buy a bread, get a piece of happiness for free.’ Why don’t we try that?”

Grumpy Pig sighed, “I’m worried every day now, where can I find happiness to give away? If I had happiness, I’d keep it for myself.” Red Fox was at a loss too, “Yeah, where can we find happiness?”

As they were talking, Happy Cat came over. “Brother Pig, do you want to expand your bakery? I’m getting too busy to handle it alone. We could open a big store together.” Before Grumpy Pig could respond, Red Fox quickly said, “That’s great, but you have to tell us where to find happiness.”

Happy Cat smiled, “Happiness is all around us. Look, I’m happy just coming here to propose a partnership with you; making more delicious bread for the residents will make us all happy, right?”

Indeed, Grumpy Pig felt happy after hearing Happy Cat’s words.

Later, they opened a joint bakery called “The Happiness Factory.” This happiness floated in every corner of the small town, just like the aroma of their bread, everywhere.
