Dinosaur Stories Green-Horned

Little lamb Thomson woke up in the morning and saw a plate of green spinach in front of him. He said, “I hate spinach. Is there anything else to eat?”

His mom brought a plate of bok choy. Little lamb Thomson waved his hand and said, “Even worse!”

Then his mom brought a plate of tender greens and said, “These greens are really tender.” Little lamb Thomson said, “But I just hate green leafy vegetables!”

“Fine, if you don’t want to eat them, you don’t have to!” His mom began telling a story. Little lamb Thomson loved listening to his mom’s stories; no matter how many times he heard them, he never got tired of them.

“What story are you telling today, Mom?” he asked eagerly.

“Today, I’m going to tell you a story called ‘The Green-Horned Dinosaur.’ It’s a little scary!” she teased.

Little lamb Thomson snuggled up closely to his mom. “A green-horned dinosaur sounds scary, but I still want to hear it.”

“The green-horned dinosaur lived in the forests of the Cretaceous period. It was huge, with a long, thick tail, and a pair of green horns on its head. It was very fierce. The green-horned dinosaur ate up all the small animals in the forest. But one day, a brave warrior named Thomson appeared…”

Little lamb Thomson got excited when he heard that the warrior was also named Thomson. He straightened up and listened carefully.

“One day, the warrior Thomson, wearing a black cloak and wielding a sharp sword, arrived at the great forest. He waited until the green-horned dinosaur fell asleep, then bravely jumped onto the dinosaur’s head and swung his sword with all his might, chopping off the dinosaur’s green horns and taking them home.”

“Where are the green horns now?” Little lamb Thomson asked curiously.

“They’re right on your plate, waiting for you to chew them up!” his mom pointed at the “green horns.”

Little lamb Thomson clapped his hands and said, “Let me taste them! Hmm… these ‘green horns’ taste pretty good. Let me go chop a few more!”

And it’s said that after the brave warrior Thomson chopped off the green-horned dinosaur’s horns, the dinosaur’s body kept getting smaller and smaller, and its tail grew thinner and thinner, until eventually, it turned into a cabbage worm!
