In a clear blue sky, there was a mischievous little white cloud. On the day he was born, the sky was incredibly blue, so his cloud parents named him “Blue Sky.”

“Blue Sky” loved to sneak down to Earth to play. He often ran to the kindergarten playground to play hide-and-seek with the children. Whenever it was “Blue Sky’s” turn to hide, the children were thrilled because whoever found him first could take a spoon or a small chopstick and swipe it across “Blue Sky.” A big candy cloud would appear on the spoon or chopstick.

Wow! What a delicious candy cloud! The children at the kindergarten all said it was the best candy they’d ever had!

One day, while “Blue Sky” was happily playing with the children, it suddenly started to rain. “Blue Sky” was a little white cloud, and if he got wet, he wouldn’t be able to fly back up to the sky. To protect “Blue Sky,” the children took off their clothes to shield him from the rain.

The children got their hair and clothes wet but still couldn’t keep the heavy rain away. Soaked by the rain, “Blue Sky” was brought inside the classroom by the children. He couldn’t fly anymore and had to wait until he was completely dry.

In the evening, as kindergarten ended, the children reluctantly said goodbye to “Blue Sky” and went home with their parents. “Blue Sky” was left alone, sitting on a small chair, cold, hungry, and a bit scared. Just then, Teacher Li came over with a smile, patted “Blue Sky” on the head, and put him in her backpack to take him home.

That night, Teacher Li made delicious milk cookies for “Blue Sky,” filling his tummy until it was round and full. At night, “Blue Sky” lay in Teacher Li’s arms, listening to her tell stories. As she spoke, “Blue Sky” grew sleepy, mumbled “Mom,” and fell asleep.

The next morning, “Blue Sky” woke up from a sweet, sweet dream. He saw the Sun smiling down at him! After enjoying the nutritious breakfast Teacher Li had prepared, it was time for “Blue Sky” to return to the sky.

“Blue Sky” hugged Teacher Li and said, “Thank you!”

Teacher Li kissed “Blue Sky” on his little face.

“Blue Sky” flew away from the balcony, and Teacher Li went to work at the kindergarten with her backpack. When she arrived, she opened her backpack and found a big candy cloud inside, secretly placed there by “Blue Sky.” Teacher Li smiled happily; she really liked “Blue Sky!”
