The rain stopped, and on the green grass, a big mushroom quietly popped up.
A little ant came out for a walk and saw this big mushroom. She said, “How wonderful it would be to live inside!”
But how could she turn the big mushroom into a house? The little ant was so anxious that she went around in circles!
Just then, a spotted chicken came running and said, “Let me help you.”
She pecked and pecked with her sharp beak, and a small staircase appeared on the white mushroom stem.
Next, a yellow duck came running and said, “Let me help you.”
He pecked and pecked with his flat beak, and a small kitchen and bedroom appeared on the white mushroom cap.
The little ant was very happy. She said to the spotted chicken, “Thank you,” and she said to the yellow duck, “Thank you.”
