Thank you

The farm is bustling in the autumn. The apples have ripened, the corn is ready for harvest, and the rice is also mature. All the farmers are busy with the harvest.

Mother Squirrel was pulling a cart full of pinecones. It was quite heavy, and Little Rabbit quickly ran over to help push the cart. “One, two, three!” Finally, the cart was pushed up the hill. As Little Rabbit was panting for breath, Mother Squirrel walked over, smiled, and said, “Thank you, Little Rabbit.”

Uncle Ox was carrying a big basket of corn on his back, and it looked like he was struggling. Little Rabbit quickly ran over to help Uncle Ox carry the basket all the way to his house. Just as Little Rabbit was about to leave, Uncle Ox walked over, smiled, and said, “Thank you, Little Rabbit.”

Throughout the day, Little Rabbit helped Mother Squirrel push her cart, helped Uncle Ox carry his corn, helped Little Bird gather twigs, and helped Little Ant move to a new home. Everyone happily thanked him.

In the evening, Little Rabbit told his mother everything that had happened. Mother stroked Little Rabbit’s head and said, “Thank you, my good little one.”

It turns out, hearing others say “thank you” is such a joyful thing!
