Sad romantic tale

In an ordinary middle school, there was a lovely girl who had many boys chasing after her, but she accepted none of them. In her mind, she had only one thought: to study well. She believed that falling in love at this time would affect her studies.

But she was too naive, because when love comes, you can’t stop it even if you want to.

Not long after, a handsome boy transferred to the school, and perhaps by fate, they ended up in the same class.

The boy sat alone in the corner of the classroom. At first, the girl didn’t pay much attention to him, but after the boy transferred, many girls came to his window to hand him love letters. However, the boy would just tear them up without even looking.

The boy rarely spoke, basically making no sound, leaving immediately after school, sitting in the classroom during school hours, and sleeping during breaks. He didn’t like to interact with others.

Everyone gossiped behind his back, wondering if he was mute. Even though he heard these rumors, he didn’t respond.

One day, the girl was on cleaning duty. When she swept near the boy’s seat, he was lying on the desk, sleeping. The girl said, “Classmate, could you please get up? I need to clean.”

The boy lifted his head, glanced at her, and then continued to sleep. The girl who was on duty with her couldn’t stand it, slammed her hand on his desk, and said, “Who do you think you are?”

The boy stood up, stared at the girl who had hit his desk with a frightening look in his eyes. The girl was a bit scared and said, “Could you move for a bit?” The girl on duty then spoke up, “Can you?”

The boy looked at the girl, said nothing, and walked out of the classroom. The girl on duty said, “What kind of manners does he have?”

The girl said, “Stop talking.”

The girl on duty said, “Let’s hurry and clean his area. If that weirdo comes back, we won’t be able to clean.”

The girl said, “Could you say less?”

“Oh.”

That evening, when the girl was walking home alone through a dark alley, she felt someone following her but didn’t dare to look back. She quickened her pace, but ended up in a dead end with two men approaching her.

The girl asked, “What do you want?”

One of the men said, “What do you think?”

The girl screamed for help, and coincidentally, the boy was nearby, having just returned from shopping. Hearing her cry for help, he ran over and saw the two men closing in on her. He rushed forward and kicked one of the men to the ground.

The other man said, “Who the hell are you, ruining our fun? Do you want to die?”

The boy didn’t say anything, just punched him, knocking him to the ground. The boy then walked towards the girl.

“It’s you. Are you alright?”

The girl said, “I’m fine.”

For the first time, the girl heard the boy’s voice. It was so pleasant, so gentle.

The girl asked, “Are you alright?”

The boy said, “I’m fine.”

The girl said, “But weren’t you just…”

Before she could finish, the boy turned and walked away before she had a chance to say thank you. She watched his back as he suddenly collapsed in her sight.

She hurriedly ran over and saw a pool of blood on the ground. She called an ambulance and got him to the hospital, where he went into surgery. The girl anxiously waited outside, and soon the boy’s sister arrived.

The sister asked, “Who are you? What happened?”

The girl said, “I’m his classmate. He got stabbed in the back while saving me.”

His sister fainted on the spot. When she woke up, she was lying in a hospital bed with the girl by her side.

The sister quickly asked, “How’s my brother?”

The girl said, “He’s fine now.”

The sister said, “Then I’m relieved.”

The girl asked, “Why aren’t your parents here?”

When she asked this, the sister couldn’t help but cry, and the girl seemed to understand something.

The sister told the girl a lot about her and her brother’s life.

The girl apologized, saying, “I’m sorry.”

The sister said, “It’s okay.”

It turned out that the boy’s parents had died in a car accident five years ago, and it was only his sister who, as a company manager, supported him through school.

The girl admired the sister deeply. For a 19-year-old girl to support a family and become a company manager, she must have worked incredibly hard.

The sister said, “Thank you for bringing my brother to the hospital. You should go back to school. I’ll take care of him here.”

The girl said, “I’ll come to see him after school tomorrow.”

“Okay.”

Back at school, the girl often glanced at the boy’s seat, missing him. A while passed, and the boy still hadn’t returned to school. The girl was worried and went to the hospital to find him, but the doctor said he had been discharged some time ago.

The girl wondered where he had gone since he hadn’t come to school.

On her way home, she saw a fight in the distance and was shocked to see the boy among those fighting. She avoided the scene but later saw the boy, covered in injuries, near the alley where he had saved her. She quickly went to help him.

“Are you alright?” she asked.

The boy didn’t say anything, nor did he look at her. He just shook her off and kept walking. The girl fell to the ground, helplessly watching him leave, feeling a sharp pain in her heart.

The next day, the boy came to school. He was more talkative than before, engaging with his classmates as if he had been silent for a long time. The girl was happy to see this change, and they often chatted and studied together, always smiling and laughing when they were together.

One day, the boy went out with his “brothers” for another fight. On his way home, he ran into the girl, who saw his face covered in injuries. Her heart ached, and a tear fell onto one of his wounds. The boy’s hand moved as if stung by the tear.

The girl cried for the boy. She realized she had fallen in love with him. Whenever she saw him hurt, her heart would ache. The boy had long loved her too but felt unworthy of her, so he never confessed.

The girl gently touched his face and kissed his wound. “Does it still hurt, silly?”

The boy looked at her and kissed her. Their first kiss was sealed, and soon everyone at school knew about it, and they became the most envied couple.

One day, the girl asked, “Silly, will you love me forever?”

The boy replied, “Of course, silly. I will only love you in this lifetime.”

The girl said, “You can only love me. You can only have me in your heart because you are my silly.”

The boy said, “Of course, because I belong only to you.”

He held her in his arms, and she listened to his heartbeat, feeling like the happiest person in the world. They lived happily for a long time.

One day, the boy noticed that the girl’s grades had been slipping since they started dating. She was always thinking about him and not paying attention in class. Knowing she was her family’s only hope, he couldn’t bear to see her like this and decided to break up with her.

The next day, he asked her out. She noticed he looked unwell.

“Silly, what’s wrong? Where are we going to play?”

The boy wanted her to forget about him so she could focus on her studies. He knew this was selfish and would cause her great heartache, but he thought of her declining grades and her parents’ expectations and decided to break her heart for her own good.

“We should break up,” he said.

The girl’s heart shattered instantly. She couldn’t believe it was true.

She grabbed his hand. “This isn’t real, right? Silly, tell me you’re joking.”

The boy, holding back his pain, shook her off and said, “It’s true.”

She cried, “Why? You said you’d love me forever.”

The boy was heartbroken too, watching her cry and wanting to wipe away her tears, but he couldn’t. He had to endure the pain and said, “I was just saying that. I already like someone else.”

This struck the girl again, and the boy knew he had left a deep scar on her heart, one he could never make up for, even if he died a thousand times. He couldn’t stand seeing her cry because it made his heart ache, so he walked away, leaving her standing there in tears.

The girl locked herself in her room and cried for two days, ignoring her family. When she finally came out, she acted as if nothing had happened, eating breakfast and going to school. Her classmates asked if she was okay, and she always replied, “It’s just love gone, heartbroken.”

When the boy saw her, he asked if she was okay.

“Classmate, thank you for your concern. I’m fine,” she said, calling him “classmate” which crushed his heart.

The boy soon stopped attending school. The girl cried every night for a long time. Over time, she seemed less heartbroken, and her classmates thought she had forgotten him. But how could she forget? The boy was the only one in her heart, and she accepted no other suitors.

Time flew by, and soon the girl was accepted into a prestigious university. But she felt unwell recently. Misfortune struck when she fainted in class and was taken to the hospital. The boy, hearing this,

rushed to the hospital, seeing her through the glass, wanting to touch her face but feeling unworthy. He left without entering.

The next day, the diagnosis came. The girl had a heart condition and needed a transplant to live. She was devastated, as she hadn’t lived her life with the boy yet. She still believed he would return to her.

The boy learned of her condition and came to the hospital but didn’t enter her room. She saw him and said, “Is it you, silly? Why don’t you come in?”

He entered, and she asked if he still loved her. She made him promise to love her one last time. He assured her she wouldn’t die and that he would love her forever. Her tears fell, and she felt happy despite everything. The boy stayed by her side, but her condition worsened. She told him that someone had offered a heart but she refused because her heart was full of him. She wanted to love him with her heart till the end.

The boy, who had never cried, cried now. He hadn’t realized she loved him this deeply. He told her he didn’t need a heart that loved him, just that she knew he loved her. They embraced, and the next day, someone agreed to donate a heart. She was happy and told the boy, who said they would be together forever. She slept, and he kissed her forehead before leaving.

The next day, she woke up and didn’t see the boy. He wasn’t there when she went into surgery. The operation was a success, but three weeks passed with no sign of him. She was terrified he had left her again. She went to his house and found his sister crying. She asked about him and was led to the cemetery. There, she saw his grave and his handsome photo, realizing the heart inside her was his.

The boy’s sister handed her a letter, and she read:

“Dear baby, when you read this, I am gone. Please forgive me for the pain I caused you. Seeing you willing to give up your only hope for me, how could I not sacrifice for you? This life, I have no regrets, as long as my heart beats in you, my love will continue. In the next life, I will still be your silly boy and love you forever.

Yours forever, your silly boy.”

She cried herself to exhaustion. The next day, his sister found her dead, holding his grave, a peaceful look on her face. She left a letter too:

“Sorry, mom and dad. I can’t leave him alone in heaven. I can’t bear him getting hurt and not being able to heal him. I’m going to be with him.”

After reading the letter, the boy’s sister shed tears. In the end, she buried them together.

Thank you for reading! ” Sitestorys
