Mickey the Escaping Mouse

Lili was a child who loved reading fairy tale books. One day, he bought a book called The Adventures of Mickey the Little Mouse at a bookstore. That night, after reading the book for just a short while, Lili began to feel sleepy. He yawned and dozed off, drifting into a deep slumber.

Suddenly, Mickey the little mouse poked his head out of the book. He looked around and said, “I’m hungry. I need to find something to eat outside.” With that, he crawled out of the book and spotted an open bag of sunflower seeds on the table.

“Wow, so many sunflower seeds!” Mickey began munching on them, crunching away.

“You can’t eat the owner’s snacks. Go back into the book,” said the package.

“Well, he should’ve closed the bag properly,” Mickey replied, stuffing the rest of the sunflower seeds into his pockets.

“Wow, so many peanuts!” At that moment, Mickey noticed some peanuts lying in Lili’s pencil case.

“You shouldn’t come in here and mess with my pens. Go back to the book,” said the pencil case.

“I only want the peanuts, I don’t care about the pens!” Mickey grabbed a peanut and shoved it into his mouth.

“Wow, so many candies!” Mickey then discovered that Lili had candies in the pocket of his clothes.

“Don’t bite me,” said one of the milk candies.

“Why did you come with Lili in the first place!” Mickey said as he prepared to pounce on the milk candy.

Just then, Lili’s little cat came into the room with a loud “Meow!”

“Oh no, there’s a cat!” Mickey, terrified, dashed back into the fairy tale book, but some of the sunflower seeds and peanuts got stuck outside the book.

“Quick, chase him! He’s hiding in the book!” the milk candy shouted, alerting the little cat.

The cat jumped from the floor onto the table. Mickey held his breath, hiding inside the book, scared that the cat would find him.

“He’s hiding on page 25,” said the package.

The little cat cautiously opened the book, but before it could reach page 25, Mickey quickly dashed to page 38.

“He’s hiding on page 38,” said the pencil case.

The cat carefully turned to page 38, but Mickey had already scurried to another page.

“Which page is it?!” The little cat was furious and threatened to roast Mickey and eat him.

Mickey trembled in fear, and just as the cat was about to fetch some matches, Mickey bolted out of the fairy tale book and escaped through the window, never daring to return to the book again.

The next morning, when Lili woke up, he found sunflower seeds and peanuts scattered on the table. There was a small hole in his fairy tale book, and, strangely enough, the hole was shaped exactly like Mickey the little mouse. Even more bizarre, the chapter titled Mickey’s Escape in the book was completely blank.
