Love And Separation: Fated Love
Meeting and Knowing Each Other
He and she were both born in the same village in the same city in 1984. Perhaps it was fate that brought them together. As time went by, they ended up in the same class in elementary school. The teacher always arranged the seating with boys and girls sharing desks, and no matter how the teacher arranged it, they always ended up sitting together. Was this what people called destiny?
Children don’t know what love is; they only know about “liking.” He was thrilled to sit next to the prettiest girl in the class, and she was also an excellent student. His classmates looked at him with envy, and some with jealousy. The jealous boys, who had money, would buy her snacks, toys, and school supplies to make her happy.
But the boy’s family wasn’t wealthy, and he couldn’t afford to buy her gifts, not even school supplies. So, he could only watch her from a distance, praying in his heart for her happiness. Even though they sat together in class, they went their separate ways after school.
The boy wasn’t handsome, but the girl liked him too because she felt he was honest and reliable, unlike the rich, spoiled boys. He loved studying and cared about her in his own way, which the girl could sense. She began to develop feelings for him through his little acts of consideration, even though neither of them expressed their feelings openly. They just knew that being together made them happy.
Years passed, and as they grew older, people began to gossip. The boy started avoiding her, and they drifted apart. When it was time to go to middle school, the boy was relieved, not knowing that the girl liked him too. In the first year of middle school, they had no contact. There were eight classes, and they were in different buildings.
Even if they saw each other, they were too shy to speak. During the third year, they ended up in the same class, but the boy had to repeat a grade. He regretted it, thinking if he had known, he wouldn’t have stayed back. He missed the chance to be with her and was deeply annoyed. The boy thought, “If only we could be in the same class now, I wouldn’t care about anything else because I truly like her.”
During the third year, the girl went to a local technical school. The boy didn’t know until he received a letter one day. He was excited and scared since he had never received a letter before. He feared it was a mistake. When he opened the letter, he found two hearts drawn together. He couldn’t believe it and thought it was a mistake.
But his sister told him it must be from the girl because her sister and the girl were friends. The girl had read his diary when she visited. They started exchanging letters, but it brought trouble for the boy at school. Other boys, jealous of him, picked fights. The girl was liked by many, and the third year was tough for him.
Loving and Longing
After graduating from middle school, the boy went to a teacher’s college 200 miles away. Despite the distance, he never forgot the girl. Many older students suggested he find a girlfriend, but he refused, wanting to reunite with her after graduation.
Life at the distant school was tough without family or a girlfriend. They missed each other deeply, thinking about each other constantly. They eventually confessed their feelings, realizing they had liked each other for years. They hoped to be together and be happy forever.
When he returned home during vacations, he secretly met her. They couldn’t openly date due to village gossip. They met outside the village, talked, and shared dreams. They promised each other eternal love and never to part. They were a happy couple, envied by many.
However, when he told his parents, they strongly opposed the relationship because of old family grudges. The boy was heartbroken but couldn’t change their minds. The girl’s parents also opposed the relationship. Despite their love, they couldn’t be together due to family pressure. They decided to end their relationship, leaving them both devastated.
Praying and Blessing Each Other
In October 20xx, the boy married another girl, and the girl moved to a distant city to escape her pain. She eventually married too. They both wished each other happiness despite their love. They had little contact over the next five years, trying to move on, but couldn’t forget each other.
Reuniting and Falling in Love Again
Five years later, they met by chance. Despite not saying much, their eyes revealed their deep love. This encounter rekindled their love, leading to another chapter in their story.
Author’s Message:
As the saying goes, “It’s better to break up a temple than a marriage.” I can’t understand why their parents acted as they did. It’s a pity for these two truly loving people. I hope they keep their love as a beautiful memory and remember that true love doesn’t always mean being together. Just knowing the other is happy is enough. Spread your love to those around you and prevent such tragedies from happening again!
