Today, the little puppy went on a picnic with the chipmunk. The little puppy brought a delicious lunch, including a peach pie and donuts.
The chipmunk also brought some tasty food, like fruit sandwiches, fruit salad, and a cream cake. They went fishing and played hide-and-seek on the forest meadow. After playing for a while, the little puppy ate his peach pie. A little later, he couldn’t resist and ate his donut too.
Time flew by, and soon it was lunchtime. The chipmunk took out his fruit sandwich, fruit salad, and cream cake and started eating heartily. But what about the little puppy? His lunch was already gone, and now his stomach was growling with hunger. But what could he eat? He had nothing left!
The chipmunk noticed and asked, “Why aren’t you eating?”
The little puppy hesitated and said, “It’s all my fault for being too greedy, so I ate all my food earlier…”
The chipmunk heard this and said, “Here, have my sandwich!”
The little puppy took it and started eating it hungrily, saying, “Next time, I won’t be so greedy!”
