Little Mole children’s story
Little Mole is very cute, but he has a bad habit – he’s a “leaky mouth.”
Look – Little Mole is eating rice, but he’s wasting a lot of food.
This worries the ants nearby, but Little Mole doesn’t care at all.
Little Ant says, “Little Mole, you shouldn’t waste food…”
Little Mole replies, “There’s plenty of rice in the fields, it’s fine…”
Little Ant says, “Wasting, wasting, being a leaky mouth is not good…”
Little Ant sighs, “Oh dear, oh dear!” They have to carry the rice grains back home together.
Little Mole brings a plate of peanuts, takes a bite, and throws each one away…
Little Ant sees this and gets very angry, but Little Mole just shrugs and says, “There are plenty of peanuts in the fields…”
Little Ant says, “Wasting, wasting, such a waste, you are a leaky mouth, not a good child…”
The ants sigh, “Oh dear, oh dear!” They have to carry the peanuts back home together.
Winter comes, and Little Mole can no longer find anything to eat. He is cold and hungry and has to go to Little Ant.
“Come and join us for a feast,” the ants bring rice grains and peanuts for Little Mole to eat. At this moment, Little Mole’s face turns red…
He says, “I will never be a leaky mouth again.”
