Little Flower Mouse’s Amusement Park

Little Flower Mouse really wanted to open an amusement park. Because little mice had nowhere to go except stay in their holes. How could he set up an amusement park? Little Flower Mouse went to ask his friends. “Of course, we need lots of toys, like a little train, a seesaw, swings, and even a spaceship…” Everyone quickly listed many ideas.

“I’ll start by making a seesaw,” thought Little Flower Mouse, and he headed to the grass. Oh? What’s this? Someone left half a melon rind? Great! Little Flower Mouse twitched his ears and thought for a moment. He went back to find a piece of wood and nailed it to the melon rind. Little Flower Mouse jumped on and stood in the middle. Wow! The melon rind wobbled, one end high and the other low. It really looked like a seesaw!

“I want to make a plane next.” Little Flower Mouse went to the vegetable garden. Oh? There’s a big carrot here with a huge hole chewed in the middle by a bug. Little Flower Mouse jumped up and “crunch, crunch” made the hole even bigger. In the end, he could sit inside! This could be a little plane! He found two leaves and stuck them on the sides of the carrot; they looked just like wings.

“I still need a swing.” Little Flower Mouse went to the orchard. He picked a big banana. “The banana is curved just like a little boat!” Little Flower Mouse found two ropes and tied them to both ends of the banana, hanging it from a tree. “My banana swing is ready!” He jumped up happily.

“Now I need a little train.” Little Flower Mouse looked up and saw the green cucumber trellis, full of long cucumbers. “Hehe, these are perfect for a train!” Little Flower Mouse picked many cucumbers and cut them into pieces. He also found lots of round little stones to make wheels and attached them. “My train is about to go!” Little Flower Mouse joyfully sat on his little train.

Look! Little Flower Mouse’s amusement park is open! The little mice no longer have to be stuck in the dark holes. They happily played with the toys made by Little Flower Mouse, and everyone was extremely joyful!
