Little Bee Story: The Little Bee Attends a Banquet
Early in the morning, the little bee received an invitation from the noon flower. After collecting nectar, it headed to the banquet.
When it arrived in the garden, it found that the noon flower was still sound asleep.
Looking back, the little bee saw a cuckoo bird laughing at it. The bee asked the cuckoo bird why it was laughing.
The cuckoo bird said, “The noon flower only blooms at 12 o’clock noon. It needs to rest now, yet you came to disturb it.”
The little bee’s face turned a bit red, and the cuckoo bird continued talking: “We should respect others’ living habits and be polite.”
The little bee thought to itself: In the future, I need to read and study more, to learn knowledge seriously, and become a knowledgeable and cultured little bee.
At noon, the little bee came back again. It saw the noon flower warmly welcoming its arrival. The little bee felt very happy in its heart, and they joyfully sang, danced, and had a lot of fun together.
It was then that the little bee truly realized the importance of reading and learning.
