Little bear: Our Little Treehouse
In a big forest, there was a very peculiar tree. The trunk of this tree was a house, with a big door and even five small rooms!
A little bear, a little rabbit, a little monkey, a little squirrel, and a little bird discovered this tree.
They said to the tree, “We want to live in your treehouse. Is that okay?”
The tree replied, “Of course, you’re welcome!”
So, the little bird lived on the first floor, the little squirrel on the second floor, the little monkey on the third floor, the little rabbit on the fourth floor, and the little bear on the fifth floor.
After living there for a while, they all felt it was very inconvenient: the fourth floor was too high, and the little rabbit had a hard time jumping up; the fifth floor was even higher, and the little bear was always out of breath from climbing up to his home.
So, they quickly held a family meeting.
The little bear said, “I want to live on the first floor.” The little bird immediately said, “I can fly, so let me live on the fifth floor.” The little rabbit nodded and said, “I can jump, so I can live on the second floor.” The little monkey quickly said, “I’m agile, so I’ll live on the third floor!” The little squirrel excitedly said, “I’m a tree-climbing expert, so let me live on the fourth floor.”
So, they moved back into the treehouse with their new arrangement.
From then on, they lived a happy and joyful life.
