Little Ant Story
Are you careless? Don’t worry, there’s a little guy who’s also very careless. Who? Little Ant Pipidan, of course.
Little Ant Pipidan went out for a walk, and as he walked, he suddenly felt a large dark cloud covering the sky. Oh no! It’s definitely going to rain heavily; better run back home quickly. When Pipidan, sweating all over, got home, his mom asked:
“What’s wrong?”
“It’s going to rain heavily.”
“Really? The sun is shining brightly.”
Pipidan looked up and, huh, where did the dark cloud go?
There wasn’t any dark cloud; it was just a big lotus leaf. An uncle was using the lotus leaf as a hat, took it off, and put it on the ground while wiping the sweat off his head. Careless Pipidan mistook the big lotus leaf for a dark cloud.
It really did start raining, and the ant family hid at home from the rain. Pipidan was eagerly waiting for the rain to stop so he could go out to play, constantly peeking outside. Hey! The rain stopped. Little Ant Pipidan dashed out without even telling his mom.
Not long after, Pipidan came back drenched. His mom asked:
“What’s wrong?”
“The rain started pouring again.”
The rain hadn’t stopped at all; it was just that two people with umbrellas had been talking together for a while. When they left, the umbrellas were gone, and it seemed like it started raining again.
Mom poked Pipidan’s forehead with her finger and said, “You, you, you careless little Pipidan.”
