Little Ant Rides the Bus

Little Ant climbed onto the bus at the bus stop. He was going to visit his grandma in the forest.

On the bus were Little Sheep, Little Dog, Little Monkey, Little Pig, and many other good friends. Some of them were going to the forest to pick mushrooms, some to play hide and seek, and some to swim by the lake in the forest.

Beep beep—the bus started moving. Everyone started singing happily.

Beep beep—the bus arrived at a small stop, and Grandma Bear got on. She was going to the forest to visit her grandson. When Grandma Bear got on the bus, she saw that all the seats were taken.

Little Sheep said, “Grandma Bear, come sit here!”

Little Dog said, “Grandma Bear, come sit here!”

Little Monkey said, “Grandma Bear, come sit here!”

Everyone said, “Grandma Bear, come sit here!”

Grandma Bear said, “Ah, thank you, thank you, my good children. But if I sit in your seat, won’t you have to stand?”

At this moment, Little Ant shouted to Grandma Bear with his biggest voice, “No, no, Grandma Bear, please come sit here!”

“But where will you sit?” Grandma Bear asked. “You sit down first, and then I’ll have a place to sit!” Little Ant said mysteriously, blinking his eyes.

Grandma Bear sat in Little Ant’s seat. Oh, where did Little Ant go? Why couldn’t they see him?

“Little Ant, Little Ant, where are you?” Grandma Bear called.

“Grandma Bear, I’m right here!” the voice came from beside Grandma Bear’s ear. Oh, it turned out that Little Ant had climbed onto Grandma Bear’s shoulder to sit!

All the way, Little Ant sang many songs for Grandma Bear. The songs were very pleasant to hear. Look, Grandma Bear was smiling and tilting her head, listening happily!

They arrived at the forest, and everyone got off the bus cheerfully.
