lion story for kids: Transformation

There was a lion who always thought he was something special. Every day, he wore a stern expression and looked very serious.

This lion didn’t know how to cry or laugh.

It was boring to be around someone who was always so serious, never crying or laughing, so the lion never made any friends. Only the little bear who lived next door would greet him.

One day, a greedy fly flew into the little bear’s house. It landed on the little bear’s food, eating away happily. It buzzed around the house, singing and dancing. The little bear got very angry and chased it around with a fly swatter. The fly flew out of the house, and the little bear followed it outside.

The fly flew to the lion’s door, slipped through the crack, and started buzzing around the lion’s house.

The lion was having lunch, and the fly landed on his delicious food. The lion waved his hand angrily to swat it away. The fly then landed on his spoon, and the lion had to knock it off. The fly flew to the edge of his soup bowl, and when the lion tried to swat it, he knocked the entire bowl over, spilling soup all over the tablecloth.

The lion was furious. He left the table, not wanting to eat anymore.

The lion lay down in his lounge chair, hoping to take a nap.

As soon as he closed his eyes, the fly started buzzing around his ears. The lion was extremely annoyed and grabbed a broom to chase the pesky fly away. Finally, the fly disappeared.

The lion was very tired, and as soon as he lay down, he fell asleep. He started snoring and dreaming, imagining himself back at the table, enjoying his delicious meal. Just then, the fly came buzzing back, landing on the lion’s large nose, making it itch terribly. The lion woke up from his dream.

The lion couldn’t sleep anymore. He was furious and grabbed a stick to chase the fly. But no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t hit the fly. Instead, he ended up breaking the chandelier and the picture frames on the wall.

The lion held his big head in his hands and cried. He couldn’t believe that such a majestic lion couldn’t handle a tiny fly. The lion cried so hard that his tears soaked the carpet. For the first time, he felt so pitiful and useless.

Just then, the lion heard a knock on the door.

He opened the door, and there was the little bear standing outside. The little bear said, “Mr. Lion, why are you so sad? Do you need my help?”

For the first time, the lion heard someone speak so gently to him and offer to help. The lion felt a warm feeling in his heart and said, “That pesky fly has made my life unbearable!”

At that moment, the fly proudly landed on the dining table, licking the soup stains on the tablecloth. The little bear quietly walked up, raised his fly swatter, and with a gentle swat, the fly was gone!

The lion saw how easily the fly was dealt with and laughed. He laughed so happily, so heartily, that tears even came to his eyes.

When the little bear saw that the lion had learned to cry and laugh, he thought the lion was very lovable. He became friends with the lion.

As for the lion, he realized for the first time that he wasn’t so great after all. He needed friends, and he needed their help. The lion stopped being so serious all the time. He cried when he wanted to cry, and laughed when he wanted to laugh, and he made many friends.

The lion lived a very happy life!
