Lion Story For Kid: The Lion’s Perm
In the forest, there was a big lion who heard that getting a perm was all the rage in the city! The lion thought, “If I go to the city and get a perm, all the animals will praise my beautiful hair.”
So, the lion went to the city, found a very famous hair salon, and got his hair permed. He looked at himself in the mirror over and over, feeling so happy that he roared, “My curls are so beautiful!” But with that roar, he broke the mousse, perfume, and everything else in the salon.
When the lion returned to the forest, the little lions almost didn’t recognize him. The little lions saw the big lion’s curly hair and thought it was really fun, so they climbed onto the big lion’s curls. The big lion said, “Don’t touch my curls! If you come near them again, I’ll spank you, and that will hurt a lot!” Hearing this, the little lions quickly ran away. The big lion wouldn’t even touch his own curls, so every day he didn’t comb his hair or use mousse.
One day, the big lion woke up and felt his head was very itchy, so he scratched it. It turned out that his hair was infested with bugs. The big lion went over to the little lions and said, “Can you help me scratch my curls?” The little lions replied, “Didn’t you say you’d spank anyone who touched your curls?” The big lion said, “That rule is canceled. Help me scratch now.”
“The bugs are really too many,” said one little lion. “You should go to the river and wash your hair.”
Finally, the big lion washed away the bugs. He ran back to the city to find a very famous doctor and asked how to prevent the bugs from coming back. The doctor said, “You’ll have to cut your hair off.” The big lion then went to a barber shop and got his hair shaved off, leaving him bald. When he returned to the forest, the little lions saw the big lion with a bald head and couldn’t help but burst into laughter. The little lions said, “Big Baldy, Big Baldy.”
