Kids’ story on arrogance: I Knew You Would Pout

Pot Pot Bear and Snuggle Pig noticed that Blueberry Bunny had become a bit arrogant lately. When did it start? They tried hard to remember.

“Maybe it was the day Bean Mouse praised her for being a pretty little girl?” Pot Pot Bear thought for a while before asking, “Do you remember? She even blushed at the time.”

Snuggle Pig immediately said, “Yes, yes, I remember. But she didn’t blush because she was shy, she was just too happy.”

Indeed, from that moment on, Blueberry Bunny always held her head high, even walking with her nose in the air. She even tripped several times because of it, haha!

Well, it’s not a big deal for a girl to be a little proud. “As long as we don’t mind,” Snuggle Pig said.

Snuggle Pig had learned to make a new dessert, and after practicing at home for several days, he finally decided to show off his skills to his friends. He invited Blueberry Bunny and Pot Pot Bear to his house.

He carefully prepared everything and followed each step meticulously. Even Pot Pot Bear felt that this was too ceremonious, “I believe this must be a very delicious treat!”

When Snuggle Pig proudly brought out the dessert, he couldn’t help but say, “Please, my friends, this is a crepe I made just for you, it’s a limited edition!”

Pot Pot Bear took a deep breath, pretending to be intoxicated, “Oh my, just by looking at it and smelling this aroma, I’m happy even before tasting it.”

Blueberry Bunny took one look, lifted her head, and pouted, “I thought it was something special, but it’s just an egg pancake.”

“I knew you would pout.” Snuggle Pig said unhappily, “You look down on me and my dessert, so don’t eat it then!”

“No, no, once she tries it, she’ll know it’s completely different,” Pot Pot Bear said to Snuggle Pig, then winked at Blueberry Bunny, “Come on, let’s give it a taste.”

Blueberry Bunny reluctantly took a bite, then put it down. After a while, she forced herself to say, “Well, it’s not bad, the taste is okay.” Snuggle Pig was very upset to hear this, so Pot Pot Bear quickly said, “I think it’s great! Let me have some more.”

On the way home, Pot Pot Bear said to Blueberry Bunny, “You’re getting more and more beautiful. How about I take some photos of you?”

“Really, you think I’m prettier too?” Blueberry Bunny said happily, “Great! I want to take some beautiful photos, the more beautiful, the better!”

Pot Pot Bear brought out the camera and chose different angles to take pictures of her. Blueberry Bunny posed in various ways, proudly saying, “Make sure to take them seriously, capture the most beautiful me.”

After trying different poses and scenes, Pot Pot Bear suggested taking some close-ups, and Blueberry Bunny cooperated by making various expressions: playful, funny, pouting, smiling…

Pot Pot Bear kept giving directions, “…Okay, one more shot. Was Snuggle Pig’s crepe tasty?”

“Hmph!” Blueberry Bunny raised her head, pouted, and made a disdainful expression, which Pot Pot Bear captured perfectly.

When Blueberry Bunny looked at the photos, she found that the only one that didn’t look good was the one with her pouting. She suddenly seemed to understand something. This time, instead of lifting her head, she politely asked, “Pot Pot Bear, have I been like this a lot lately?”

“Occasionally, just occasionally.” Pot Pot Bear replied with a smile, which made Blueberry Bunny even more embarrassed. She repeatedly said, “I shouldn’t have done that. This look isn’t nice, and it hurt my friends’ feelings.”
