Lioness Amei had long, shiny, waterfall-like golden hair, which was incredibly beautiful.
However, after a severe illness, her golden hair began to fall out in large clumps.
Eventually, all her golden hair fell out. Amei locked herself in her room, looking at her ugly bald head in the mirror, and started crying. She cried and cried until her eyes were red and swollen, looking like two ripe peaches.
“Amei, let’s go fishing!” her friends called to her from outside the window.
How could she go out with her ugly bald head?
“No, no!” Amei’s voice was filled with tears.
“Amei, let’s play football!” her friends called again from outside the window.

Amei simply crawled into bed and stayed silent.
Who knows how much time passed when the phone suddenly rang.
Amei picked up the phone, and her friends’ voices came through the receiver: “Amei, don’t you love fishing the most? Why aren’t you going today?” “Amei, our football match is waiting for you to be the goalkeeper, come quickly!”
Amei, with a tear-streaked face, said nothing.
“Amei, poke your head out and see, we have a surprise for you!” a lively voice said.
Amei couldn’t resist anymore. She slowly poked her head out of the window.
Ah! Her friends, all of them, had shaved their heads.
One shiny head after another glistened in the sunlight. Amei cried once again…
