Goose story

One sunny afternoon, a mischievous black goose was swimming in the river. He was extremely happy and swam farther and farther…

As the sun set, the black goose grew tired of swimming and lay down on the grass by the shore. The dark night enveloped the land, and he began to feel a bit scared, but he mustered up his courage and started walking home along the riverbank, step by step.

Suddenly, a big gray wolf blocked his path. The black goose’s heart pounded with fear as the wolf’s fierce eyes stared him down. The wolf opened his bloodthirsty jaws and howled twice, grabbing the black goose by the neck. With glee, he said, “Hey, God has given me a feast!” The black goose struggled but couldn’t break free.

Thinking quickly, he pleaded softly with the wolf, “Sir, I’ve been playing all day, and I’m covered in dirt and stink. My mother chased me out. Can you help me get clean and take me home?” The black goose said this while crying.

The wolf saw the black goose crying pitifully and thought he really did smell something foul. He rubbed his growling, empty stomach and growled viciously, “Stop babbling. Go wash yourself!” With a fierce kick, the wolf sent the black goose flying into the river.

Enduring the pain, the black goose swam desperately towards home. The wolf waited foolishly on the shore, drooling at the thought of his imminent feast. He kept his glowing green eyes fixed on the black goose, only to see him getting farther and farther away. From a distance came the black goose’s voice: “Mr. Wolf, I’m home now. Goodbye!”
