Fun children story
Katie pulled a small cart and bought a small tub of ice cream at the ice cream shop.
On the way home, a stone tripped the cart, causing it to wobble. The tub tipped over, and the ice cream started to melt and drip onto the ground, but Katie didn’t notice at all.
A few kittens smelled the ice cream and ran to follow the cart, licking the melted ice cream along the way. A big dog saw this and joined in, licking the ice cream behind the kittens. A girl on horseback said to the boy next to her, who was holding a poodle on a leash, “What a fun parade! Let’s join in too!”
The line grew longer and longer as more people joined in. An accordion player also joined the parade, bringing along his dancing monkey. The accordion player played cheerful tunes as they walked.
It was then that Katie noticed the long line of animals and people behind her. She was delighted! Everyone started marching to the beat of the music, one-two, one-two…
They reached Katie’s house. “Plop!” The last drop of ice cream fell. No one wanted to leave, so they held a grand party together, singing, dancing, and laughing.
