Dog Stories: Collie Dog’s Sunday
The weather was great, and the sun was shining brightly. But Collie Dog wasn’t in a good mood.
After getting up in the morning, Collie Dog played with a ball. The little ball went back and forth, patting it with the left hand, patting it with the right hand. Sigh! So boring.
After lunch, Collie Dog took out the doll that Gluglu Cat had given him and started playing with it. Collie Dog talked to the doll about many things in his heart, but… the doll could only blink and couldn’t talk. Sigh! So boring.
Collie Dog sat on the ground, sighing and looking dazed.
“Hey, Collie Dog, let’s play together!” Gluglu Cat peeked in from the windowsill.
“Alright!”
“I’ll be the mom, and you be the dad,” Gluglu Cat said.
“Mom” picked up the doll and sang lullabies to make the doll laugh.
“Dad” was busy cooking and preparing meals.
“Mom” fed the doll.
“Dad” gave the doll a bath.
The doll laughed.
“Mom” laughed.
“Dad” laughed.
Haha! So much fun!
“Hey, Collie Dog, Gluglu Cat, let’s play together!” Clever Rabbit peeked in at the door.
“Alright!”
They grabbed the ball and went to the green grass field. Everyone played soccer, volleyball, basketball… running, jumping, falling, cheering, laughing, hugging… Spotty Tiger and Pouch Kangaroo also joined them, making the field really lively.
Haha! So much fun!
On the way home, Collie Dog thought happily: This Sunday wasn’t bad at all!
“Next Sunday, let’s play together again!” Collie Dog shouted to his friends.
