One day, Clever Rabbit took his beloved paintbrush to the countryside to paint. Meanwhile, Big Dumb Wolf quietly crept into the grass behind Clever Rabbit. “Haha! Finally, I can have a delicious meal!” Big Dumb Wolf licked his lips and chuckled to himself.
Just as Big Dumb Wolf opened his gaping mouth to pounce on Clever Rabbit, the alert Clever Rabbit bolted. He ran and ran, and just as Big Dumb Wolf was about to catch him, Clever Rabbit dove into the nearby grass.
Thinking quickly, he pulled out his paintbrush and started painting on himself rapidly. Once he finished, he picked up two large maple leaves and held them in his hands as claws.
Big Dumb Wolf searched here and there. When he approached the grass, suddenly, a “monster” leaped out from the grass!
Oh my! This monster had ears like a tiger and claws much bigger than his own! Big Dumb Wolf was scared out of his wits and fled, rolling and crawling away in a hurry.
