Children’s story about wolf with a White Nose

A little wolf with a white nose had just walked out of the toy store when he started to cry. He was sobbing bitterly as he said:

“The toy store has every kind of toy: stuffed bears, stuffed cats, stuffed rabbits, stuffed giraffes, even wooden ducks, tin mice, and plastic tigers, lions, and elephants—but there are no wolves. No stuffed wolves, no wooden wolves, not even plastic wolves. We aren’t even as good as mice. It’s so unfair…”

The wolf cried harder and harder.

He wanted so badly to find a wolf toy in the store.

The little white-nosed wolf decided to visit the toy designer, Mr. Bearded.

The wolf said to Mr. Bearded:

“Hey, why don’t you design a toy wolf?”

Mr. Bearded replied, “Because wolves are too rough, and they always do bad things. That’s why children don’t like wolves.”

“Really?” The wolf cried again, sadly. He said, “But that was in the past. Can’t wolves become more polite, gentle, and kind-hearted?”

“I might consider designing such a toy wolf, but you’d have to show me a real wolf like that,” Mr. Bearded said as he continued sketching designs.

“Alright, Mr. Bearded. I’ll come back to you in a few days,” the little wolf said after thinking for a moment.

Many days later, one day, there was a knock at Mr. Bearded’s door.

“Who’s there?” Mr. Bearded asked.

“It’s me, the little white-nosed wolf,” came the voice from outside. “May I come in?”

“Please come in!” Mr. Bearded was washing his brushes.

“Hello, Mr. Toy Designer. I’m sorry to interrupt your work. I’m the little white-nosed wolf who visited you before.”

“Wonderful! That means we’re old friends now,” Mr. Bearded said, squeezing a bit of paint onto a small dish.

“Thank you,” the wolf replied politely.

“Why are you visiting me today?” Mr. Bearded asked as he dipped his brush in the paint.

“Look, this is the reward I recently received!” The wolf presented a certificate and a medal.

It turned out that the little wolf had won first place in a mountain climbing competition and had also received a bravery award for rescuing a rabbit in distress during the climb.

“Well, you’re truly a polite, gentle, brave, and kind-hearted wolf. I’ve finally met such a wolf,” Mr. Bearded said as he carefully looked at the certificate and medal. He chatted with the wolf while sketching his design.

After a while, the wolf couldn’t help but sincerely ask, “May I ask if you’re planning to design a toy wolf for children?”

“Of course,” Mr. Bearded said, putting down his brush. He held up a drawing for the wolf to see. “How about this toy?”

The wolf could hardly believe his eyes. Right in front of him was a very proud, brave, and friendly wolf. It looked just like him but even more beautiful and handsome. A toy wolf made from this design would definitely be amazing.

“Thank you so much, Mr. Designer! Thank you!” The little wolf said excitedly. “I can’t wait to see such a toy. This is so thrilling!”

Not long after, the little wolf saw toy wolves in the toy store—there were not only stuffed wolves but also wooden and plastic wolves.

Boys especially loved this kind of toy wolf, saying:

“This wolf is brave, cool, and kind. So awesome!”

As for the girls, they liked the toy wolves too. Isn’t that funny? They chattered:

“This wolf is way cuter than those rude, impolite boys who always try to bully little girls!”
