Children’s stories about ants: Beautiful Colorful
Ant Climber crawled out from the crack in the tree, breathing the fresh air and bathing in the golden sunlight. The mountains were green, the water clear, the grass lush, and the flowers vibrant… Everything made Climber feel at ease.
Climber slowly crawled along the tree roots when suddenly, he spotted a green ant. Climber had never seen such a beautiful ant before.
Climber exclaimed in surprise, “Your color is so beautiful!”
Climber’s loud voice attracted five companions. They all gathered around the green ant, admiring and praising her. The green ant felt shy under their gazes and softly said, “Actually, I’m just a black ant. This morning, when I went out to play, a drop of water fell from the sky. To my surprise, the water was green, and when it dripped onto me, I turned into a green ant.”
Strange, green water falling from the sky? Climber looked up at the sky. The sky was clear blue, and the sun was smiling warmly at the seven ants below. There was no green water anywhere.
The green ant pointed ahead with her antennae and said to everyone, “I encountered the water over there. How about I take you to see it?”
Climber was thrilled and followed the green ant forward, along with the other five ants. The green ant led them to the edge of a lake, where they saw a little rabbit painting. The beautiful scenery was all captured in the painting.
Curious, Climber crawled closer. Just then, a drop of purple water fell onto him, and Climber’s body turned purple. The companions screamed excitedly, “Climber has turned into a purple ant! Climber has turned into a purple ant!”
Their shouts caught the rabbit’s attention. “Who’s making so much noise, disturbing my peaceful painting?”
“Sorry, sorry, we’re ants, right by your feet!” Climber explained.
“Oh, so it’s the ants.” The little rabbit looked down and saw the seven ants beneath her easel.
“Sister Rabbit, can you help us paint ourselves? We’d look much prettier with color.” One ant suggested. It turned out the water that fell from the sky was actually the rabbit’s paint.
“Sure, sure, I’ll help you.” The little rabbit carefully painted the other five ants: red, orange, yellow, green, blue… They looked so beautiful!
The ants, now dressed in bright, colorful clothes, happily headed home. Suddenly, there was a loud rumble—rain was coming! A busy cricket was rushing to gather soybeans that were drying on the lawn. Without hesitation, the ants ran over to help collect the soybeans. At that moment, a monkey strolling in the forest saw the scene and quickly picked up his camera. “Click, click, click!” He took several shots in a row and printed out one of the best photos. “Ah, what beautiful colorful ants!”
“Brother Monkey, could we have a copy of the photo?” Climber really wanted a picture as beautiful as this one.
“Of course! This photo will even be published in tomorrow’s newspaper.” It turned out the monkey was a photojournalist for the Forest Daily, and he was delighted to have captured such a great story.
When the ants parted with the monkey, it started to rain. The ants formed a line and held the photo high above their heads to shield themselves from the rain. As they walked, they talked excitedly under the picture: “Do you think our photo will be on the front page tomorrow?” “I look so pretty in the photo!” “My pose carrying the soybeans is the coolest!”
The ants’ laughter echoed far and wide through the forest, blending beautifully with the sound of the rain, resonating through the woods in a harmonious melody.
