There are two chicks, one named Luhua and the other named Xiaobai. They wanted to play in the meadow, so they passed through a small forest and came to a crossroads.
Suddenly, a weasel appeared. Seeing the chicks, the weasel pretended to be friendly and said, “Hello, little chicks!” The chicks were very scared when they saw the weasel and didn’t say anything.
“Don’t be afraid of me; I won’t hurt you. Where are you going? You’re so small, let me take you there! Otherwise, you might get lost.”
“We’re going to the meadow,” Xiaobai said bravely.
“It’s very far from here. Do you know which way to go? Come with me! We’ll go left.”
“But my owner just went that way to the market,” said Luhua.
