Children story about rhino
The rhino had a bad temper and liked to pick fights with others. He was incredibly strong, and the single horn on his head made many animals afraid of him.
One day, a tiger accidentally trespassed into the rhino’s territory and urinated under a tree. The rhino was furious and said, “Who peed under my tree? Get out of here!”
The tiger said, “I’m sorry, I didn’t know this was your place.” Before the tiger could finish speaking, the rhino lowered his head and charged. The tiger was knocked to the ground and rolled over twice. He got up, both angry and aggrieved, and walked away.
An elephant came into the forest to pick some fruit. The rhino saw a large shadow and thought an animal was coming to attack, so he prepared to fight the elephant. The elephant saw how aggressive the rhino was and said, “Let’s talk this out.”
“Talk it out with you? No way!” The rhino wasn’t listening. He lowered his head and charged. The elephant’s belly was painfully poked by the rhino’s horn, but he endured the pain and walked away.
A little bird flew onto the rhino’s back. The rhino, with red eyes, loudly asked, “Who is it? Do you want to die?”
The bird pecked out a small worm from the folds on the rhino’s back and said, “Hello, rhino! I’m a bird. You have a lot of bugs on you, let me help you catch them.”
After the bugs on his body were all caught, the rhino felt much more comfortable.
From then on, the little bird often flew onto the rhino’s back to help him catch bugs and chat with him. The overbearing rhino and the little bird became good friends.
The bird asked, “Why are you always so irritable?” The rhino said, “I always feel itchy and uncomfortable, and I can’t see things clearly, so I get very annoyed. Now that you help me catch the bugs, I feel much better.”
The next day, the little bird brought a pair of glasses for the rhino. With the glasses on, the rhino could clearly see his good friend the bird, as well as the big trees, lush leaves, and the sheep playing on the grass. Gradually, the rhino’s irritability flew away, and his mood became calm.
