Chick and Fox Story
In the morning, the sun bathed everything in a golden glow.
The little chick woke up early, rubbed his eyes, stretched, and said to himself, “The weather is so warm today!” With that, the little chick swaggered out the door.
But he hadn’t gone far when a sly fox spotted this tender little chick, drooling with hunger and wishing he could swallow him in one bite.
The little chick was very scared but quickly calmed down. He started flapping his wings vigorously against the ground, and suddenly dust filled the air, covering the fox’s eyes, nose, and mouth with dirt.
The fox rubbed his eyes and sneezed, looking extremely embarrassed, and had no choice but to slink away.
