Cat Story: Mr. Cat Lost His Tail
As usual, Mr. Cat happily walked into the Cat Restaurant. “Bring me a live mouse,” he told the cat waiter, “a robust and eloquent one!”
“Alright, a talkative mouse tastes the best!” The cat waiter quickly brought out an exquisite plate.
On the plate lay a piece of bread, and on top of the bread lay a small mouse. It seemed to have just woken up, standing up and stretching comfortably. “Hello, esteemed sir!” The small mouse actually bowed to Mr. Cat. “Wonderful! This little mouse must taste great!” Mr. Cat cheerfully picked up his knife and fork.
“Wait, wait, please allow me to say a prayer first, as I am about to leave this world!” said the small mouse, kneeling on the bread and earnestly beginning to pray, “Thank God for giving me this opportunity to surrender my life to this kind Mr. Cat…”
The small mouse’s prayer made Mr. Cat very happy. He called the cat waiter, “I’m so happy today to have met such a lovely little mouse! I want to drink!”
The cat waiter quickly brought a glass of fine red wine. Mr. Cat took a sip of the wine, then picked up the knife and fork, and reached towards the small mouse.
But after drinking the wine, Mr. Cat became somewhat soft-hearted. “I’ve eaten countless mice, but today is the first time I’ve encountered such a cute little mouse! I feel a bit reluctant to go through with it.”
“I have a way to help you!” said the small mouse, picking up a napkin and covering Mr. Cat’s eyes, “This way, you won’t feel sad!” Then, the small mouse carefully lifted Mr. Cat’s tail and slowly moved it onto the bread.
Next, the small mouse held Mr. Cat’s hand, aligning the knife and fork with the cat’s tail, “Alright, it’s aligned, now you just need to cut down hard. Be sure to use force!”
“Okay, I’ll use force. Thank you for helping me, you are really too cute!” said Mr. Cat, cutting down hard.
“Meow… ouch!” Mr. Cat immediately screamed in pain, his tail bleeding.
His scream frightened Miss Cat, causing her to fall to the ground, and scared the cat waiter into dropping the hot lobster onto a cat customer.
The Cat Restaurant was in chaos, and that clever little mouse had already escaped amidst the commotion.
