Bunny story for children

The small bunny wanted to grow up quickly, so he asked his mom, “When will I be grown up?”

His mom smiled and said, “It takes a lot of time!”

“A lot of time?” the bunny thought, “Who has a lot of time?”

“Grandma, Grandma, do you have a lot of time?” the bunny ran to his grandmother’s house. She was sewing a beautiful and soft little pillow. “Yes, a lot of my time is sewn into this little pillow!”

“Wow!” the bunny pleaded, “Can you give the pillow to me?”

“Sure,” his grandmother finished the last stitch and handed the little pillow to the bunny, “I’m giving you a pillowful of time!”

“Thank you, Grandma!” the bunny happily hugged the pillow and said goodbye to his grandmother.

“Grandpa, Grandpa, do you have a lot of time?” the bunny ran into his grandfather’s garden. His grandfather was carefully watering a begonia plant. “Yes, a lot of my time is poured into this begonia plant!”

“Wow!” the bunny asked, “Can you give the begonia plant to me?”

“Sure,” his grandfather handed the freshly watered begonia plant to the bunny, “I’m giving you a potful of time!”

“Now, I have lots and lots of time,” the bunny thought, holding the plant in one hand and the pillow in the other, “Does this mean I have grown up all at once?”

Hey, what’s bothering Mama Bird over there?

“You don’t know,” said Mama Bird, “the strong wind last night blew my nest down. My little birds can’t fly yet and have no place to stay. It’s so pitiful!”

“I have a lot of time,” the bunny quickly said, waving the little pillow, “I’ll give you this pillow, and the little birds will grow up right away!”

“Great!” Mama Bird carefully opened the little pillow, and the little birds snuggled into the warm pillow, which became the coziest home!

“Don’t worry, Mama Bird!” the bunny reassured her like an adult, “With this pillowful of time, the little birds will soon grow into big birds and fly into the blue sky!”

“Yes, yes!” Mama Bird kept nodding, “Thank you so much!”

“You’re welcome!” the bunny said, while thinking, “I still have a lot of time left!”

“Little Bear, hurry home,” the hedgehog ball ran over and said, “Your mom sprained her ankle and is having a hard time walking. Go check on her!”

“Oh no!” the bunny ran home quickly, thinking, “I have to give this begonia plant to Mom. With all this time, her ankle will surely heal!”

“What a beautiful begonia!” his mom forgot about the pain as soon as she saw the flower, “It took a lot of time to grow this!”

“Mom, I’m giving you this potful of time. Will your ankle get better right away?” the bunny asked seriously.

“Well…” his mom turned and patted the bunny’s head, “My little bunny seems to have grown up all at once!”

“Really?” the bunny couldn’t understand. “I thought I had gathered a lot of time and would grow up quickly, but I accidentally gave all the time away. How could I have grown up?”
