Bedtime stories for kid

Little Bunny wasn’t very happy today because his mom had prepared a little bed for him. Mom said, “My child, you’ve grown up. You shouldn’t sleep with Mommy anymore.”

At night, when the moon rose, it was time to wash up and get ready for bed.

“I look so small. Why does Mommy say I’ve grown up?” Little Bunny thought as he looked in the mirror.

“Mommy, look! My hands are so small, I’m not grown up yet!”

Mom smiled and put the toothbrush in his little hand, then closed his hand around it.

“See, your hand can already hold the toothbrush tightly. Mommy believes you can make your big, beautiful front teeth shine.”

Little Bunny bared his teeth. Well, those two front teeth were indeed not small!

After brushing his teeth, it was time to wash his feet. Little Bunny sat on a small stool and lifted his little feet.

“Mommy, look! My feet are still so small!”

Mom held his little feet and measured them a bit.

“Oh, these are big feet now. Look, they’re almost as big as Mommy’s hand.”

“But I can’t walk steadily. I fell twice today while playing with Little Lamb!”

“That’s actually great! Yesterday, you fell four or five times! My child, no one is born knowing how to walk. You fell a lot yesterday, but today you fell less. Tomorrow, you’ll walk even more steadily and beautifully.”

Hearing Mommy’s words, Little Bunny obediently finished washing his feet. Then he opened his arms, wanting Mommy to carry him.

“Mommy, look! I’m still so small. I can’t climb up onto the bed. Please carry me up!”

“Oh, my child, have you forgotten? We bunnies are born to hop high. Mommy believes you can jump up onto the bed by yourself.”

“Alright, let’s give it a try.” Little Bunny bent his legs, gave a big push, and wow! He really jumped onto the bed.

He rolled around under the blanket, then happily bounced on the bed.

“Ha! Mommy, look how high I can jump!”

“You’re jumping so high, even higher than Mommy!”

Tired from jumping, Little Bunny crawled into his little blanket. Mommy turned off the light, and the room became dark, with only a sliver of moonlight sneaking through the window crack.

Little Bunny quickly hid his head under the blanket. After a while, he peeked out with his round, wide eyes.

“Mommy, Mommy, my courage is still so small. Will you sleep with me tonight?”

“My child, you’ve grown up. You can sleep by yourself now.”

“But I’m afraid of the dark. I’m also afraid the big bad wolf will come into my dreams.”

“Don’t be afraid, my child. Mommy will come into your dreams too and help chase away the big bad wolf.”

“Alright then, it’s a deal.”

Little Bunny wasn’t scared anymore. He closed his eyes gently and soon started snoring softly.

Mommy tucked him in and kissed his forehead softly.

“Good night, my child! Mommy will always protect you. Even when you’ve grown up and left Mommy, you will always be Mommy’s good baby. May you have a beautiful and happy dream!”

“I love you, Mommy!” Little Bunny murmured.

He must have had a good dream!
