One evening, Little Squirrel came to Little Rabbit’s house and said anxiously, “What should I do? I was playing hide and seek in the forest with my little sister, and I’ve been looking for her since morning but still can’t find her!”
Hearing this, Little Rabbit also became worried and said, “If we can’t find your little sister soon, the Big Bad Wolf might catch her!” Little Squirrel started crying upon hearing that.
Little Rabbit thought for a moment and said, “Don’t cry, let’s hurry up and find your little sister!”
Soon, they ran into the forest. Little Rabbit noticed some footprints on the damp path and said to Little Squirrel, “Look, these footprints must be your sister’s! If we follow them, we can find her!”
They followed the footprints, which led them to an apple tree where the footprints disappeared.
Little Rabbit looked up and immediately said happily, “Look! Your little sister is asleep in the magpie’s nest!”
Little Squirrel quickly climbed up the tree and woke up his little sister.
Rubbing her eyes, Little Squirrel Sister said, “Brother, I won! You finally found me.”
Little Rabbit said to Little Squirrel Sister, “You shouldn’t fall asleep in the forest! If we couldn’t find you, you would have ended up in the Big Bad Wolf’s belly.”
Little Squirrel Sister blinked her big eyes and nodded vigorously.
