The Little Fox and the Tail
Little Wild Boar had its tail caught and broken by a hunting trap. Holding its bleeding tail, it went to visit Dr. Hippo.
In pain, it said, “Dr. Hippo, please help me reconnect my tail!”
Dr. Hippo was at a loss and replied, “If only you had brought your tail, I might be able to help you, but…”
Little Wild Boar felt extremely sad; without its tail, it thought it would look so ugly!
At that moment, a little fox came in to see the doctor and noticed what was happening. It said to Little Wild Boar, “I can help you fix it!”
The little fox took Little Wild Boar back to its home, pulled out a box of colorful modeling clay, and took a piece of yellowish clay. It rolled it in its hands, shaping it into a long, thin tail, and attached it to Little Wild Boar’s back. Miraculously, the modeling clay transformed into a real tail!
Little Wild Boar turned to look and couldn’t stop shaking its tail, jumping up and down in joy.
