The Gray Mud Castle

In a gray and misty mud castle lived many gray and misty mud people. Mud Sister loved playing on the grassy fields in the forest, where the green grass was like a big, soft carpet.

One day, while a little white rabbit was grazing on the grass, it suddenly lifted its head and said, “Oh my, Mud Sister has grown hair!”
“It’s true, you really have hair growing on your head. Oh no, wait, it’s grass,” said the always-honest black bear in a serious tone.

As everyone talked, little green, pointy blades of grass also began to sprout from Mud Sister’s body and hands. She was terrified and burst into tears.

“What’s the big deal? I have a white, fluffy fur coat, and Black Bear has a black, fluffy fur coat. Now you have a green, fluffy little grass coat. Isn’t that nice?” The little white rabbit quickly comforted Mud Sister.

“Yeah, it really is nice.” So Mud Sister wore her green, fluffy little grass coat and went home.

“Look! A little tree is walking over here,” Mud Dad said curiously, pushing up his glasses.

Mud Mom didn’t believe a tree could walk.
“Maybe it’s a little green rabbit? A little green monkey?…”

“Well, let’s make a bet. When it gets closer, you’ll see for yourself and realize you were mistaken,” Mud Dad said.

As the figure approached, it wasn’t a little tree, nor a little rabbit—it was their mud child.

“How beautiful! It’s our child,” Mud Mom exclaimed excitedly.

“That’s wonderful! Our little green princess,” Mud Dad said as he scooped Mud Sister into his arms, as if holding a soft, fluffy cloud.

When the forest fields bloomed with colorful wildflowers, Mud Sister also changed into a vibrant floral dress, like a beautiful, multicolored cloud happily chasing and playing in the Mud Castle.
