The Careless Little Lion
One sunny day, Little Lion was getting ready to go celebrate Little Puppy Sister’s birthday.
He thought to himself, “What gift should I give Little Puppy Sister?”
Little Lion walked over to his toy box and saw a cute little bear, his favorite bear. He decided to give the bear to Little Puppy Sister.
Just as he was about to head out, Little Lion felt that something was missing from the gift. He thought for a moment and said, “Ah! How could I forget to wrap it?”
So, he started preparing the wrapping. Soon, a beautifully wrapped gift box was ready. Little Lion happily took the gift box and left.
When Little Lion arrived at Little Puppy Sister’s house, he gave her the gift. Little Puppy Sister was delighted when she saw the beautiful gift box, feeling all warm and happy inside.
After the birthday party was over, Little Lion returned home and saw another bear sitting on the table, exactly the same as the one he gave away. He was shocked and thought, “Didn’t I give this bear to Little Puppy Sister as a birthday gift? What’s going on?” His mind was full of questions.
Later, he finally figured it out. It turned out that Little Lion had been so focused on wrapping the gift that he forgot to put the bear inside the gift box!
So, he hurriedly grabbed the bear and ran to Little Puppy Sister’s house to explain everything. Little Puppy Sister said, “It’s okay, thank you, Little Lion! I really like your gift!”
Finally, Little Lion returned home. It was already late, and though he was a bit tired and sleepy, he felt warm inside because he had managed to give the gift to Little Puppy Sister, and she liked it very much.
