Little Pig Rescues the Fox
“Help! Help!” A fox was crying for help. Little Pig was drinking fruit juice when he heard the fox’s voice and wanted to go help.
A crow flew over and said, “Don’t go, don’t go, the fox tricked me and took my hamburger last month.”
“Help! Help!” The fox’s cries for help echoed again. Little Pig couldn’t sit still and wanted to go rescue the fox.
A rabbit hopped by and said, “Don’t go, don’t go, the fox tricked me and took my little flower hat last week.”
“Help! Help!” The fox’s cries for help came again. Little Pig couldn’t sit still and wanted to go rescue the fox.
A little duck walked by and said, “Don’t go, don’t go! The fox tricked me and took my water gun the day before yesterday.”
“Help! Help!” The fox’s cries floated in once more. Little Pig couldn’t sit still and wanted to go rescue the fox.
A little snake slithered by and said, “Don’t go, don’t go! The fox tricked me and took my lollipop yesterday.”
“Help! Help!” The fox’s voice was getting softer and softer. Little Pig couldn’t sit still any longer. He grabbed his fruit juice and rushed over.
“Fox, fox, quickly drink some juice to soothe your throat. Let me see what’s wrong with you!”
“I found something shiny in a small stone hole. When I reached in to grab it, I accidentally got stuck,” the fox said while drinking the juice. “Hurry and get a shovel to help me.”
Little Pig hurriedly fetched a shovel and helped the fox free his hand from the stone hole.
“This is for you!” The fox gently placed the shiny medal he had just found in the stone hole on Little Pig’s chest.
