Little Bear Story For Kid: the Phone, Loom

There was a little bear, and he had a phone named Loom.

Little Bear liked Loom very much and often talked to her.

“Hello!”

“Beep, beep, beep…” Loom responded.

“Loom, is that you?”

“Beep, beep, beep…” Loom said.

“Loom, let’s go out and play!”

But the telephone wire wouldn’t let Loom go out. So, Little Bear had to stay and sit with Loom.

Since she can’t go out to play, it’s better for us to sit and chat, Little Bear thought.

Suddenly, Loom’s bell rang loudly and said, “Little Bear, it’s me! Why aren’t you going out to play?”

“I’m sitting here to talk with you,” said Little Bear.

“But you promised you would go outside and greet me in the yard!” Loom said.

“That was a promise to Mom, not to you!” Little Bear said.

Suddenly, the phone raised its voice and said loudly, “I am your mom!”

Little Bear realized that it really was his mom calling. After all, Loom couldn’t speak on her own. She could only say, “Beep, beep, beep…” So he said, “Okay, Mom, I’ll go to the yard to greet you now!”

Before going out, he picked up the receiver again and said, “Goodbye, Loom!”

“Beep, beep, beep…” Loom replied as usual.
