Children’s story about the moon
One day, Little Rabbit was playing with building blocks. The Moon saw this and thought, “I want to play with building blocks too.”
The Moon took a leap and jumped down into Little Rabbit’s home.
Little Rabbit and the Moon began playing with the blocks together. As they played, the Moon slowly turned into a square moon.
Little Rabbit said, “Moon, why have you turned square?”
The Moon replied, “Because I learned from the shape of the building blocks.”
At that moment, all the other animals arrived. They said, “If you keep the Moon in your home, we won’t be able to see the Moon in the sky!”
But when they looked, they saw that the Moon in Little Rabbit’s home was square, not like the one in the sky.
Little Bear said, “Let me try rolling the Moon to make it round again.” Saying this, he placed the Moon on the ground and started rolling it.
However, the Moon said, “I just don’t want to turn back into a circle.”
At that point, Little Rabbit put away the building blocks and took out a ball. The animals began playing with the ball together.
The Moon wanted to play with the ball too. Imitating the ball, it bounced up and down on the ground and, in no time, bounced back up into the sky.
Little Bear said, “The Moon looks so beautiful in the sky.”
Little Rabbit said, “Yes, because it’s our Moon.”
