Children’s story about friendship and sharing

On the hillside, there was a beautiful red house that belonged to the little gray rabbit. At the foot of the hill, there was a lovely green house that belonged to the little white rabbit.

Summer arrived, and the weather was really hot. But on the hillside, a gentle breeze blew, making the red house where the little gray rabbit lived very cool.

At the foot of the hill, the little white rabbit was unbearably hot. Drinking water didn’t help; fanning itself didn’t help either. No matter if it was day or night, the little white rabbit was too hot to sleep.

Just as the little white rabbit was anxiously pacing around, the little gray rabbit came over and said, “Little white rabbit, come and live with me in the red house! It’s very cool inside.”

“Oh, thank you!” The little white rabbit was very grateful.

The little white rabbit moved into the little gray rabbit’s red house, and spent the entire summer in cool comfort.

Winter came, and the north wind howled. On the hillside, the wind roared fiercely. The little gray rabbit, living in the red house, wore thick clothes and covered itself with heavy blankets, but it was still cold and couldn’t sleep all night.

The next day, just as the little gray rabbit got up, the little white rabbit came over and said, “Little gray rabbit, come and live in my green house at the foot of the hill! My house is sheltered from the wind, and it’s very warm!”

“Okay, thank you so much!” The little gray rabbit said gratefully.

The little gray rabbit immediately followed the little white rabbit to the green house at the foot of the hill.

The next day, after a good night’s sleep, both the little white rabbit and the little gray rabbit woke up and said, “I’ll give you half of my house!” They looked at each other and laughed.

“That way, you’ll have a cool house in the summer!” said the little gray rabbit.

“And that way, you’ll have a warm house in the winter!” said the little white rabbit.

On the hillside, there was a beautiful red house, which belonged to both the little gray rabbit and the little white rabbit.

At the foot of the hill, there was a lovely green house, which also belonged to both the little gray rabbit and the little white rabbit.
