goose Stories: A Friend Found by the Bubbles

There was a big white goose sitting by the field. It had already eaten grass and grains of wheat, and really wanted to find a friend to talk to, but there was no one around. The big white goose said sadly, “Oh, how nice it would be to have a friend right now!”

As the sun was setting, the big white goose looked up and saw a few shiny bubbles. They floated over from the green hillside, swirling around above the big white goose’s head.

The big white goose happily shouted, “Oh, oh!” It flapped its wings energetically and stretched its neck to catch the bubbles with its beak.

But the bubbles dodged away and floated forward.

The big white goose quickly chased after them and saw a string of bubbles floating around a red house.

When the big white goose got closer, it saw a little girl leaning on the windowsill blowing bubbles.

The big white goose stood on tiptoe and asked, “Oh, are you the one blowing these bubbles?”

The little girl smiled and said, “Yes, big white goose.”

The big white goose wagged its big tail happily and asked, “Are you playing alone too?”

“No, I have many friends.” After saying that, the door of the red house opened.

A white bunny hopped out, followed by a chubby little bear, and on the bear’s ear was a colorful butterfly. They all said together, “Hello, big white goose!”

The little girl bent down and tugged on the big white goose’s wing. “They are all friends I found with the bubbles. Would you like to be our friend too?”

The big white goose was so excited it flapped its wings and shouted, “Yes! Yes!” The bunny, the bear, and the butterfly warmly greeted the big white goose. The group of friends sang and danced around the little girl, having so much fun!

After a while, the little girl blew more bubbles, and a string of bright, shiny bubbles flew over the green hills, over the little river, to find more and more good friends.
