Little Bear Stories For Kid: The Little Bear’s Warm Ears
Before going to bed, Little Bear noticed that his ears felt warm.
“Mom, why are my ears warm?” Little Bear asked.
“That’s because your good friends are thinking of you,” his mother replied, giving him a kiss.
“Really?”
“Of course!”
With a smile, Little Bear drifted off to sleep.
The next morning, Little Bear woke up early.
“Lamb, Lamb, last night my ears were warm. Were you thinking of me?” Little Bear asked Lamb.
“No, I wasn’t. Tonight I’m hosting a ‘Grass Banquet,’ where I’ll serve 99 different kinds of grass to my guests. Will you help me gather the grass?”
“Sure,” Little Bear happily agreed.
By noon, Little Bear had helped Lamb gather 99 different kinds of grass.
“Thank you, Little Bear!” Lamb gave Little Bear a loud kiss.
“Rabbit, Rabbit, last night my ears were warm. Were you thinking of me?” Little Bear asked when he met Rabbit by the river.
“No, I wasn’t.” Rabbit was practicing counting. “Why can I count from 1 to 10, but not from 10 to 1?”
“I can do it!” Little Bear sat down next to Rabbit and slowly counted backward.
“Little Bear, can you teach me to count backward?” Rabbit tugged on Little Bear’s arm.
“5, 4, 3, 2, 1.” By the time the sun was setting, Rabbit had finally learned how to count from 10 to 1.
“Thank you, Little Bear!” Rabbit gave Little Bear a loud kiss.
“Horse, Horse, last night my ears were warm. Were you thinking of me?” Little Bear asked Horse.
“No, I wasn’t. I’m feeling troubled. Can you listen to me talk? I have so many worries.”
“Alright.” Little Bear stood by Horse’s side.
Horse started talking about her troubles, starting with the annoying fly she encountered in the morning, all the way to eating a moldy piece of bread in the evening. By the time the forest was pitch dark, Horse had finally finished talking about her worries.
“Thank you, Little Bear!” Horse gave Little Bear a loud kiss.
Before going to bed, Little Bear’s ears became warm again.
But this time, Little Bear didn’t tell his mother.
The next morning, Little Bear was awakened by a knock on the door.
“Little Bear, Little Bear, wake up!”
“Little Bear, Little Bear, open the door!”
“Little Bear, were your ears warm last night? That was because I was thinking of you!”
“No, I was the one thinking of you. I even dreamed about you last night!”
“No, Little Bear, I was the one thinking of you!”
Lamb, Horse, and Rabbit were arguing outside.
“I’m coming!” Little Bear jumped out of bed. He was going to open the door for his friends.
