Children bedtime story about Rabbit: Pipi Rabbit and the Jet Cradle
From a young age, Pipi Rabbit would dream in his cradle. He imagined that one day his little cradle would grow wings like the birds outside the window and soar through the blue sky.
But dreams are just dreams. As Pipi Rabbit grew older and no longer fit in the cradle, he stopped dreaming about such things.
One day, Pipi Rabbit took what little money he had and went to the “Pick-Your-Book Store,” run by the muddle-headed witch. He wanted to buy a book he’d been thinking about for a long time.
Pipi Rabbit entered the store and said to the witch, who was buried in a messy pile of books, “I want to buy a book called 100 Ways to Cook Carrots. Do you have it?”
The muddle-headed witch glanced at Pipi Rabbit and said, “Just pick whatever you want. I have a lot of books here, divided into three types: high-end books for collectors, ordinary books worth reading, and cheap books that may or may not be worth your time. I have no idea where the book you want might be…”
“What a muddle-headed witch,” Pipi Rabbit thought.
Pipi Rabbit didn’t have much money, so he could only search through the cheap book pile. He rummaged and rummaged until he found an old, leather-bound book at the bottom of the pile. When Pipi Rabbit picked it up, he saw that the gold letters on the cover had faded, but the title was still visible: A Compendium of Magical Vehicles.
“Awesome,” Pipi Rabbit said. “I’m really interested in vehicles, especially magical ones.”
The muddle-headed witch took the rabbit’s money, stamped the receipt, and handed it along with the book to Pipi Rabbit. As she glanced down at the book’s title, she suddenly cried out, “This was my textbook from magic school! I’ve been missing this book for so long!”
“I’ve already paid for it. You’re not going to regret it, are you?” Pipi Rabbit asked anxiously.
“A witch never regrets anything!” the muddle-headed witch said, pulling a long face. Pipi Rabbit was barely out the door when he heard the witch wailing behind him, “How could I have thrown my old textbook into the cheap book pile!”
When Pipi Rabbit got home and read the magic book, it reawakened his childhood dream of sleeping in a cradle that could fly. Pipi Rabbit’s yard was small, so he didn’t want to create a magical airplane, yacht, or luxury car. He thought, “Why not make my little cradle fly? That was my childhood dream!”
Following the instructions in the book, Pipi Rabbit captured a gust of wandering wind, a light and fluffy white cloud, and a long, colorful rainbow using a big sack.
Pipi Rabbit recited a spell he learned from the book. After finishing the spell, he shook the sack and said, “Let my beloved little cradle become a jet cradle—swift as the wind, light as a cloud, beautiful as a rainbow, and capable of powerful jet propulsion!”
Pipi Rabbit’s dream finally came true.
A beautiful cradle equipped with a jet engine appeared before him. Pipi Rabbit piloted this magical, enchanting cradle, flying out of the yard and up into the sky…
