Magic competition Story
The annual magic competition in Fruit Town was about to begin. As soon as the news spread, the peaceful town became lively and bustling.
At home, Red Apple Piaopiao was busy preparing the props needed for her magic trick. She sat with her hands supporting her head, eyes slightly closed, thinking hard for nearly three hours, but still hadn’t figured out what magic she should perform. Just then, her mother walked over, concerned, and said to Piaopiao, “Don’t tire yourself out! Look at you, you’re worrying so much that you’re turning into a little old lady! I still like seeing you happy, especially when you were mischievous as a child…”
“I know what to do!” Her mother’s words inspired Piaopiao. Piaopiao thought to herself: As we grow older, everyone starts to miss their childhood more and more. If I could find the color green, I could turn back into what I looked like when I was just born. That would definitely be the most amazing magic trick in this year’s competition!
Piaopiao set off. She carried a little pink backpack, hopping around the fruit market. Suddenly, Piaopiao saw Big Brother Pomelo, and she immediately ran over and asked, “Big Brother Pomelo, can you lend me some of the green color on you?”
“Of course, but the green on me isn’t the original green color. What you need to find is the original green. Why don’t you check out the newly opened fruit supermarket?” After hearing Big Brother Pomelo’s words, Piaopiao didn’t hesitate and ran straight to the supermarket.
“Wow, the supermarket is huge!” Piaopiao exclaimed, marveling at the all-encompassing supermarket. “But will it have the original green color? I’ll look around.”
Piaopiao got busy in the supermarket! After working hard for most of the day, Piaopiao was exhausted and sweaty, and in the end, had to return home dejectedly.
A few days later, at the magic competition, although Piaopiao didn’t win the championship, she wasn’t disappointed at all. Through this experience, she understood an important truth: Once childhood is over, it can never come back. No matter how amazing the magic, it can’t travel through time. Even if magic could turn her back into a green apple, she wouldn’t be the original green apple anymore.
