pig and monkey: Candy Almond House
The little pig and the little monkey were eating when they suddenly saw a small mouse. The little mouse looked at them, appearing very pitiful.
Piggy Bangbang asked, “Little mouse, do you want to eat too?”
The little mouse shook its head, trembling all over.
“Is the little mouse cold?” asked Monkey Didi. The little mouse nodded.
“Do you not have a home?” Piggy Bangbang asked again.
“No, my home was washed away by a flood.” The little mouse started crying.
Piggy Bangbang and Monkey Didi thought for a moment and said, “The little mouse is so pitiful, let’s build a home for it!”
They immediately got to work. One took out their almonds, and the other took out their milk candy. Piggy Bangbang placed the milk candy under the sun, and soon, the candy began to melt. They coated the almonds with a sticky layer of milk candy, stacking one on top of the other. Finally, they built a fragrant little house.
“Look! This is your new home!” Piggy Bangbang and Monkey Didi said together.
When the little mouse saw it, it jumped up and down with joy, as happy as can be!
